London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) and St. Joseph's Health Care London (SJHC) have long-standing affiliations with the University of Western Ontario and other teaching centers.

The relationships are defined in Affiliation Agreements. The agreements recognize the autonomy of each institution while reflecting the mutual dependence that also exists.

The hospitals provide educational experience for students in many disciplines including medicine, dentistry, midwifery, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, psychology and ethics.
