New Professional Staff (Physicians, Dentists, Midwives)Orientation Breakfast
Medical Affairs in association with the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) and the Professional Staff Organization (PSO) host an orientation breakfast four times a year. These sessions have the support of the Medical Advisory Committee and as such, it is strongly recommended that you attend.

Professional Development for New Professional Staff (PS) - An Education Series
The series is mandatory for all new Professional Staff entering from Residency/Clinical Fellowships and for Professional Staff new to the Ontario healthcare system. For experienced Professional Staff transferring from another Ontario hospital, participation is voluntary and you may select the sessions you wish to attend. The series will consist of two-hour breakfast meetings held on the third Friday of each month from 7:30 -9:30 a.m. throughout the academic year.

ORIENTATION DAY
Orientation is scheduled for June 30, 2010 at University Hospital, 3rd floor, in Auditorium A beginning at 8:00 a.m. Attendance is mandatory. If you are unable to attend, please contact your Program Director and Medical Affairs at 519-685-8500 ext. 75113.

All new residents and clinical fellows are invited to attend the orientation social at TJ Baxter's Tap & Grill. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other individuals within and outside of your program. Drinks and appetizers will be served so come hungry and ready to have a fun night! Documentation for Pay and Benefits - Only for Residents funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health This is required for Canadian Medical Residents and International Medical Graduates who are funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health. This is not a requirement if you are funded directly by your sponsoring government. Check with your Program Director if you are unsure of your funding source.
