In order to provide a safe working environment, it is important for all Professional Staff to understand the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information system (WHMIS). WHMIS is a national communication system for the safe management of hazardous chemicals. The goal of WHMIS is to reduce or eliminate illness and injury resulting from use or exposure to hazardous materials.

Access information on a MSDS.
Know about the hazards associated with exposure to controlled products - chemical, biological, physical.
