LHSC Victoria Campus Construction Goes Into High Gear

Jan 2003: Construction of the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and Grace Donnelly Women's Health Pavilion goes into high gear.

A look ahead to 2007: the completed Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and Grace Donnelly Women's Health Pavilion.

Construction of the new 10 storey Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and Grace Donnelly Women's Health Pavilion is now underway. Effective Tuesday, November 19, 2002, the Northwest Ring Road off of the Baseline Road entrance to Victoria Campus will close. The Northwest Ring Road will be closed westward from the Thames Valley Children's Centre to the London Regional Cancer Centre (see map below).

The ring road will remain closed for the duration of the construction, estimated to be 27 months. The construction of the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and Grace Donnelly Women's Health Pavilion is the single largest construction project LHSC will undertake under the restructuring mandate.
