Urgent Care Opens at St. Joseph's Hospital February 16, 2005 - St. Joseph's Health Care, London officially opened the city's first Urgent Care Centre. The Urgent Care Centre is a new health service to treat non-life threatening illnesses and injuries, such as scrapes, cuts, sprains, broken bones, earaches, fevers, coughs and colds. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days per week. It is located at the site of the former Emergency Department, which transferred to London Health Sciences Centre on February 15.
