Professional Staff HR Planning and Approval
The processes described in this section are of most interest to departments as they establish and maintain 5-year HR Plans and identify new and replacement positions that require recruitment efforts.
On this menu item, departments can access tools to help in their recruitment efforts, obtain information on writing a Letter of Offer and get guidance to prepare for the new recruit's start date.

Career Development and Planning (CDP)
CDP is a process to support regular career related communication between Department Chairs, Chiefs and Clinical Academics. The CDP tools are found here.
During the year in which a Professional Staff member turns 60 years old and every two years thereafter, he/she completes the Retirement Planning portion of the CDP process. The policy and tools needed for this process are found by clicking on Retirement Planning on the left-hand side of the screen.
